APBY Sailing School

Arey's Pond Sailing School offers lessons for students of all ages. Group lessons are held each week in July and August. Private lessons for individuals, couples, or groups are offered by appointment and can take place in your boat or ours. Our ever expanding fleet includes 12', 14' and 18' cat boats including our own Arey's Pond Cats.

In case of poor weather, students in group classes work in our Land School, exploring topics such as knot tying, nautical terminology, rules of the road, sailing tactics, rigging and boating safety.

Our goal at Arey's Pond Sailing School is to give the student confidence in their sailing ability in a setting that is safe, relaxed and challenging.

Our Sign-Up Sheet is available as a Secure On-Line Form or can be found in our store, faxed, or printed out and mailed in. In order to sail, a sign-up sheet must be filled out entirely and signed. For students under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign. Full payment is required in order to secure a reservation.
